You guys know that there are many sites around today, but how did they all make money out of it??? do people pay the website owner just to view their site?? I mean, how can I actually make money out of a site??

There are lots of legitimate as well as illegitimate ways to make money online. It really depends on you.

I always tell people to find out what you like to do, and just do it. Treat an online business like you would if you were starting a brick and mortar business. Research, and find out how to do things the right way so you don't end up wasting time when you do them the wrong way.

if you are a total novice, try to have a free blog at blogspot or wordpress and learn how much traffic and interest you can create.

money never comes out of the blue - visitors bring them. if you are into making a money making website, it is extremely beneficial to get your hands dirty before you pay for hosting charges etc. This will give you a risk-free method of learning what works and what doesn't.
